Laura
Edwards began dancing at the age of 2 in Waldorf, MD and continued dancing
competitively in the DC/MD/VA area until she graduated from high school.
She was also choreographing and teaching at her studio since the age
of 14. One year after finishing high school, she got her first professional
dance job for a Lil' Mo music video. She has continued to be successful
in the dance industry as she has appeared in the movies "Step Up,"
"Hairspray," "Alvin and the Chipmunks," and "Step
Up 2:The Streets." She just recently completed the first season
of MTV's "America's Best Dance Crew" with the all-female group,
Fysh n Chicks. Laura is currently rehearsing for Hannah Montana's upcoming
movie and assisting choreographers, Tabitha and Napoleon D'umo, on "So
You Think You Can Dance.
