Lee Martino

Lee Martino is recognized as one of Los Angeles' leading stage, corporate event and television choreographers. Having choreographed over 100 musical productions, Ms. Martino has garnered numerous awards for her work in the theatre, including the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award, and the Ovation Award.

Lee Martino recently choreographed “On The Town” for Reprise!, and also directed and choreographed Best of Reprise! at the John Anson Ford Theatre (starring Sam Harris) which Daily Variety touted the entire production as “powerhouse entertainment”.

Other recent credits include: “Wild Party” for Musical Theatre Guild, "Guys and Dolls" for Musical Theatre West (2005 Ovation Award winner), “Grease” for Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities (2005 Ovation Award nominee),“Brigadoon” for Reprise! (2004 Ovation Nomination), “Side by Side” by Sondheim at the Pasadena Playhouse (2004 Ovation Nomination), “Phantom” for Performance Riverside (2004 Ovation Nomination), direction and choreography for three large scale, dance production shows for Harley-Davidson in Denver, San Diego and Dallas.

Other choreography highlights include: excerpts from “The King and I” at The Hollywood Bowl, starring Patrick Stuart and Vanessa Redgrave, a Tribute to Jerry Herman, hosted by President George Bush and Barbara Bush at Houston's Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS),“Man of La Mancha” starring Robert Goulet, “Mame”, starring Carol Lawrence and Sally Struthers, several benefits for The Actor’s Fund, including a tribute to Jerry Herman, and S.T.A.G.E. (Los Angeles’ longest running AIDS benefit), Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Disney’s Latin American Tour “A Dream Is A Wish”, “IMPACT at FORD FIELD, the Gala Opening of the Lions Football Field in Detroit, the Grand Opening of the Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs and the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio.

Ms. Martino is one of LA's leading stage, corporate event and television choreographers. Her work has also been seen on NBC’s “Hit Me Baby One More Time, the WB’s “What I Like About You”, with Jenny Garth and Amanda Bynes, Nickelodeon’s “All That”, Warner Bros.’ animated feature “The King and I”, and Sony Pictures’ “Dark Wolf”.

She has also choreographed such celebrities as: Patrick Cassidy, Deborah Gibson, Marin Mazzie, Jason Daniely, Davis Gaines, American Idol’s Ruben Stoddard, Angela Landsbury, Carol Channing, Gladys Knight, Dick Van Dyke, Ce Ce Peniston, Ken Howard, Brian Lane Green, Dale Kristen, Bill Hutton, Wilson Cruz, Leslie Jordan, Dorian Harwood, Billy Porter and David Engel.
