Mr.
Bolton is an extraordinary artistic master of the arts. He carries the
legacy of the top-notch dance institutions in the United States. A graduate
of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Mr. Bolton received his further
training from Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, Martha Graham School
of Dance, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and Jones Haywood School of Ballet.
He has worked with notable choreographers such as Louis Johnson, Rod
Rogers, Kevin Jeff, Mike Malone, Jason Taylor, Keith Lee, LaVern Reed
Young, Gene Hill Sagan, etc. His work has been performed in Amsterdam,
Holland, Hong Kong, Xian China Mainland, Thailand, Bangkok, Jordan,
USSR, Dominican Republic, South Africa, and throughout the United States
including Los Angeles, Cleveland, Philadelphia, New York, and Atlanta.
Mr. Bolton is noted for
training fine dancers who are now on scholarship with major dance institutions
or dancing with major companies. Many of his students have become renowned
choreographers or members of companies such as Cleo Parker Robinson
Dance Ensemble, Dayton Contemporary, Joeffrey Ballet, Dallas Black Dance
Theater, Alvin Ailey, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and the Debbie Allen
School of Dance. He is twice recipient of fellowship grants from the
DC Commission on Arts and Humanities and received an American Teacher’s
Honors Award that was held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles
and televised worldwide on the Disney Channel.
Mr. Bolton is former Co-Director
of the Christian Academy in Clinton, MD. He continues to give thanks
and praise to God for blessing him with an abundance of talent and success
with his career in the arts.
