"FABULOUS.  Moving, meaningful, entertaining, great performances."
                — Anonymous - 7th Annual Capitol Movement Project Audience Member

"We thoroughly enjoyed the performance and felt the energy was incredible - as was the talent."
                — Anonymous - 6th Annual Capitol Movement Project Audience Member

"[The] Capitol Movement production was an exciting and fun event. I had never been to a dance performance prior, but after seeing what the DC dance community is capable of, I plan to attend additional performances. Amber and Stephanie are great stewards to the dancing arts, I hope their program continues to thrive."
                — Craig Klein - 6th Annual Capitol Movement Project Audience Member

"As in previous CMI performances, we expected nothing less than a "top notch" on the edge show. However, we were not prepared for the "over the edge" emotional response this year's show elicited from the audience… The production did more than just peel back the layers. The talented CMI performers truly connected with our human emotions through their thought provoking, socially conscious pieces that led us on a journey of true life experiences of addiction, lust, secrets, etc. expressed through dance. We left the Kennedy Center truly moved by the magical performance from the Capitol Movement Dance Company. We can't wait to see what CMI has in store for us next year."
                — Julie and Karl Jones - 6th Annual Capitol Movement Project Audience Members

"Let me be one of the first to say 'newcomers stir up dance community.' The Capitol Movement Project's Hoop Dreams Fundraiser was an ensemble of dance performances that let the world know the performing arts are ALIVE in Washington, DC. Held at the historic Lincoln Theater, the night showcased a combination of skillfully danced modern, jazz, and hip hop numbers. The audience begging for more, lingered outside on U street for a chance to celebrate with the performers. Some of the choreographed pieces were as good as any being performed today. Make room for The Capitol Movement Project."
                — Andre Collins - Publisher Washington Football News and Record
