"Let me be one of the first to say "newcomers stir up dance community." The Capitol Movement Project's Hoop Dreams Fundraiser was an ensemble of dance performances that let the world know the performing arts are ALIVE in Washington, DC. Held at the historic Lincoln Theater, the night showcased a combination of skillfully danced modern, jazz, and hip hop numbers. The audience begging for more, lingered outside on U street for a chance to celebrate with the performers. Some of the choreographed pieces were as good as any being performed today. Make room for The Capitol Movement Project."
