Position Summary
Inspire and teach for CMI at DC Public Schools and Charter Schools for after-school dance programs weekdays 2:50- 5"00 PM
Rate is $55 a class - typically each class is 50 minutes to an hour. Student ages range from Pk3 to Middle School. The level of classes is typically beginner, and the styles of dance vary. Showcase at the end of the program.
DCPS requires background checks, and CMI assists with the process.
Teen Apprentice Company Director

Position Summary
The Apprentice Director plays a key leadership role in supporting the artistic, administrative, and operational success of the dance company. This position serves as the primary liaison between dancers, choreographers, production teams, and company leadership, ensuring the seamless execution of rehearsals, performances, community appearances, and company events. The Apprentice Director helps maintain artistic excellence, supports dancer development, and oversees many of the day-to-day administrative functions that keep the company running efficiently.
